The first rise on a quiet morning.
A perfect cast into a promising river.
A day spent fishing with your kids,
On a stream you’ve known since childhood.

TU is making America’s rivers cleaner, healthier and more fishable. Join us on a stream near you.

NH Trout Unlimited Youth Trout Camp

THE PROGRAM

Join us at NH Trout Unlimited’s Youth Trout Camp! Our goal is to introduce youth to our cold-water fisheries and educate them about the challenges facing them. We mentor the next generation of conservationists and anglers.

OUR THREE-TIER APPROACH

We believe that fly fishing and resource stewardship are lifelong pursuits. Our camps provide opportunities for campers to continue their learning by building on prior experiences. You will do plenty of fishing!

Instruction consists of stream ecology, conservation, restoration, casting instruction and fly tying;
NH Fish & Game staff provide hands-on, in-stream habitat assessment;
On stream fly fishing in the 'Trophy Waters' of the Connecticut River;
All fly-fishing equipment is provided, including fly tying kits;
There is a 1:1 student to councilor ratio;
Includes lodging, three meals a day, and snacks.

THE DR. RICHARD J. SCHILLING FUND

Annually each year, the NH TU Council and Chapters across the state team up with the Schilling family and Schilling Beer Company for the NH TU & Dr. R. J. Schilling Community Fly Fishing Festival. Numerous local merchants, businesses and individuals join in the effort to raise funds for the Dr. Richard J. Schilling Foundation, used to send children and buy equipment and supplies for Trout Camp. Please read more about Dr. Richard J. Schilling's passion for fly fishing and his commitment to exposing the value of our sport to our youth here.
